Law of Transport and Logistics
Most often, I deal with the preparation and revision of contractual documentation (contract of carriage and forwarding contracts, including the so-called transport or forwarding conditions), as well as disputes regarding unpaid freight, damage, loss or delay in the delivery of consignments, access to railway infrastructure such as service facilities and railway sidings.
International Trade Law
I deal with the preparation and revision of contractual documentation, which is usually a purchase contract or a contract for work and their connection with other international instruments (clauses, terms and conditions created by professional organizations, etc.). This part of the agenda also includes negotiations and disputes with foreign entities and determining the applicable law.
Family Law
In this case, the most common scope of legal advice is the resolution of disputes between spouses, including the filing of a petition for divorce, narrowing and settling of joint marital property, as well as disputes relating to child custody and maintenance. I also specialize in marriages in which one of the spouses is a foreigner or a person who has two citizenships.
Inheritance Law
In the field of inheritance law is most often to advice the client in detail how he or she can dispose of his property in the event of death and the conditions that must be met. Occasionally, this advice also includes assistance in drafting a will or communicating with a notary in this matter. I also represent heirs in inheritance proceedings, and I also have experience with the function of estate administrator.
Litigation
In my practice, I have been involved in representing clients in resolving disputes in a wide range of proceedings, whether before civil courts (most often actions for damages, proceedings in family or inheritance matters) or before administrative courts (proceedings on administrative actions and cassation complaints) or administrative authorities.
Publications and Lectures
I am also involved in publishing, I am the author or co-author of several dozens of articles and several commentaries in the ASPI legal information system, the 2nd edition of my commentary on Act No. 266/1994 Coll., on Railways, was published in book form, I am also a member of the editorial board of the professional journal Law in Transport and Forwarding. Occasionally, I also work as a lecturer.
